Is “Tomorrow Always Be a Better Day” True?
“Tomorrow Always Be a Better Day” is a widely used blessing that encourages people to stay positive. But few people had ever thought about this question: Is it a truth, or just a chicken soup for the soul?
Obviously, it is not a truth.
Tomorrow is something that has not yet come, which means tomorrow remains uncertain. Tomorrow can be a wonderful day full of love and opportunities. Tomorrow can also be a terrible day filled with troubles, upset, and even bad accidents.
The only certain thing in life is uncertainty. No matter which stage of life we’re in, life is always full of challenges. If we were stuck in the impractical thoughts that “Tomorrow Always Be a Better Day” brings, it would be a dope of our life.
However, longing for the future is nothing wrong. It is one of the biggest sources of our motivation to live a better life. If we want our tomorrow to be better, we have to realize one thing: Tomorrow is the consequence of today.
Tomorrow is the consequence of today, and today is the consequence of yesterday. The suffering we are today can be attributed to the mistakes we made yesterday. And what tomorrow will be like is due to if we are diligent enough today.
Tomorrow will not always be better, and tomorrow will not always be worse either. Tomorrow is just tomorrow — the time that has not yet come to us. Will it be a good day or bad, happy day or sad? We can get the answer only tomorrow.
Meanwhile, what we do today would affect what our tomorrow will be like. Try to build a good habit of finishing what needs to be done today, and tomorrow will more likely be a better day.
